Regardless a person’s nationality or language, vacation always means the same thing. It is supposed to be a pleasure trip. Italian is not so useful, unless you’re in the south, and Romansch may be widely spoken but is tough to learn due to the absence of translation resources.

If you can’t afford to stay in posh hotels, don’t force to stretch your budget. Regardless if you’re staying in a shack, or anyplace inexpensive, it doesn’t mean that you are up for some unpleasant times. Swiss are mighty proud of their hospitable nature. So expect to receive the same outstanding service as those staying in top hotels.
